Zack Cooper and Laura Rosenberger Discuss State-Backed Disinformation Campaigns with the United States Studies Centre

ASD Co-directors Zack Cooper and Laura Rosenberger joined the United States Studies Centre for a webinar discussion entitled “How can democracies fight against state-backed disinformation campaigns?” While the United States and Australia have increased scrutiny of state-backed disinformation and foreign interference campaigns in recent years, the coronavirus pandemic has seen an increase in disinformation alongside targeted actions by foreign governments designed to leverage this crisis for strategic effect.
