Program Manager and Fellow Nad’a Kovalčíková joined StratPol (Strategic Policy Institute) for a panel titled “Civil Engagement and Participation in Defence.” Participants discussed why societal resilience is important for national security and defense, the importance of healthy democracies for societal resilience, key vulnerabilities to address within the transatlantic community, and what tools and policies have been developed or are needed to effectively build resilience against information manipulation. 

The panel was moderated by Jamie Shea, former NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Emerging Challenges, and other speakers included Weronika Grzebalska and Triia Triin Truusa.
