Ukraine accuses Russia of cyberattack following sanctions

In May 2017, Russian government-connected hackers conducted an organized cyberattack on President Petro Poroshenko’s website, according to Ukrainian officials. The attack, which briefly disabled the website, was reportedly in response to Kyiv’s decision to impose sanctions against a number of major Russian Internet businesses, according to Ukrainian officials.
