Tibetan flag posters removed from the Chinese Embassy in Denmark

On October 26, 2021 Reuters reported that the Chinese embassy in Copenhagen took down posters critical of the Chinese government, which included the Tibetan flag, hung up by Thomas Rhoden, a candidate in local Danish elections. Hung out outside of the Chinese embassy, at least then of the posters were taken down a few hours afterward, ostensibly by embassy employees. Rhoden is the chairman of the Danish China-Critical Society, and the posters were meant to protest a 2012 partnership accord between Danish health authorities and the Chinese province of Jiangsu. Rhoden has since stated that he asked the Danish Foreign Minister to speak with the Chinese embassy to ensure freedom of speech is respected by all in Denmark.
