In March 2020, cybersecurity firm FireEye reported that Chinese state affiliated hacker unit APT41 had waged a cyber campaign affecting 75 organizations in over 20 countries. The intrusions affected government agencies, non-profits, media organizations, and companies in sectors including finance, high tech, and energy.
