Voting systems security is necessary for an election, which is why South Carolina’s move to a paper-based system is so important, Elections Integrity Fellow David Levine said on “This Week in South Carolina.” He explained that foreign adversaries try to interfere in American elections by sowing discord and spreading disinformation, so it’s essential that voters are relying on accurate information so they can cast their ballot in a timely manner and ensure their vote is counted properly. David encouraged voters to reach out to their local and state election officials whenever they have questions regarding election information.
