On this episode, Ariane Tabatabai, the Middle East Fellow at GMF’s Alliance for Securing Democracy is joined by Ambassador Wendy Sherman, former U.S. Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs who served as the lead negotiator on the Iran deal during the Obama administration. Ambassador Sherman and Ari discuss the connection between foreign and domestic policy, the most pressing challenges awaiting Biden’s inbox, what’s next for U.S.-Iran policy and how that will affect the transatlantic relationship, and more. Ambassador Sherman is currently a professor of the practice of public leadership and director of the Center for Public Leadership at the Harvard Kennedy School.
