An investigation conducted by the Dossier Center and Rise Moldova detailed how Russian advisers with close ties to the Kremlin were working with pro-Russian Igor Dodon in his reelection campaign. The advisors worked at the the headquarters of Moldova’s Socialist Party (PSRM) and at the presidency. The investigation also implicates Igor Dodon and his inner circle in connection to the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) of the Russian Federation. The report claims that the SVR has considerable influence over Moldovan foreign policy.
