Two hackers affiliated to Chinese state-backed APT10 accused of breaching U.S. military computer systems.
In December 2018, he U.S. Department of Justice indicted two Chinese hackers associated to Chinese state-backed hacking group APT10 for intrusion campaigns targeting intellectual property and confidential business information. According to the indictment, Zhu Hua and Zhang Shilong took part in a 12-year hacking campaign conducted by PRC and breached computer systems belonging to the U.S. Navy, as well as to other government and businesses. According to the court documents, the hackers of APT10 group compromised dozens of computer systems and stole sensitive information from more than 100,000 Navy personnel.
