Russian TV crew from unidentified outlet offers money to Swedish teens to riot on camera
In February 2017, a Russian TV crew reportedly attempted to bribe a group of Swedish teens to riot on camera in the Stockholm suburb of Rinkeby. The group of Rinkeby teens told journalists that the Russian film crew refused to say what station they worked for and repeatedly offered the boys money in return for staging a riot in front of the camera. According to Foreign Policy magazine, the coverage “falls in line with a wider pattern of Russian state-funded media portraying Europe as falling apart due to immigration.”
