Facebook removed Russian propaganda network

In April 2020, Facebook announced the removal of two likely Russian disinformation networks for coordinated inauthentic behavior, including 91 accounts, 46 pages, two groups and one Instagram page. Media coverage suggests that at least one outlet had originally functioned as a state news agency with FSB funding, and both may have relied on Kremlin inputs for content to publicize. The networks frequently propagated false narratives concerning U.S. elections, NATO, the COVID-19 pandemic, and other subjects.
