About Mary Ogbuehi

Mary N. Ogbuehi was a research intern at the Alliance for Securing Democracy during the fall of 2021. She is a master’s graduate from the International Peace & Conflict Resolution Program at Arcadia University. She focused her education on post World War II history and authoritarian regimes in South and Northeast Asia. Additionally, Mary has participated in human rights research projects on North Korean refugee resettlement programs in South Korea and the United States. During the summer of 2019, she was involved in an educational opportunity to study North Korean international affairs, and the ever- changing political arena in North East Asia at Ewha Women’s University. Her long-term goals include speaking Korean at an advanced level and advancing easy access to safe and accurate history and information.
